I had a lot of fun in watching all the collections of the last Paris Fashion Week. And i had even more fun in getting out of them many different "moods".
Now a day almost everything is "in", there are so many options every season and that's what i love about fashion: going thru different styles depending on our mood, day by day.
So, the following selection is my view of some "moods" for the S/S 2013 that i have choosen between some of my favourite fashion designers who show their collections in Paris.

A lot of inspirations come from NYC fashion shows.
Here is a selection of the S/S 2013 trends by my favorite american designers.
Let's start with Threeasfour that is my favorite brand above all.
Angela Donhauser, Adi Gil and Gabriel Asfour strike again with this collection wich is very avant garde yet so wearable. Beautiful colors and, as usual, amazing accesories
Definitely my style, if i only could afford it!!!
Tara Subkoff, of Imitation of Christ, doesn't want to talk about clothes or fashion. In fact she presented her "This is not a fashion show" at a Chelsea art gallery.
Models of all age and size changed their clothes in front mirrors while a video of a naked and pregnant Vanessa Beecroft was prjected in loop on the walls.
Here we are again in that area where, art and fashion, mix their boundaries.
Kate and Laura Mulleavy are the two sisters behind the label Rodarte.
Their S/S collection has a flavor of a fantasy movie where women have a strong image and proudly walk in their armor like dresses on high fantasy/fururistic heels:
Sugary, punkish, flowery... The world of Anna Sui is something we know well enough but, for me, there is something very "NYC" in her collections. It's like a legacy between the street style and the RTW.
I don't know much about Duro Olowu but i liked his use of printed material and his ladylike dresses:
What to say about Alexander Wang? He has presented an amazing collection that everybody has talked about and everybody has loved.
Black and white, sharp image, cut out dresses, gorgeous shoes.....
Everything has already been said.
